Hi guys,

My collegue was looking at some stats about the site I was doing for them and we noticed that a post I made on WR somehow also ended up on some random blog on the internets.

I just dont like it, that my post has been put on some random blog. If you search for webradiance in their search, you will find tons of other posts as well.

What I want to know is, who is doing this? Is WR admins doing this to get cross linking and better PR or are these people just annoying?

http://my56chevy.liquinoxhosting.com/?s=webradiance <- search for WR

Anyhow, I realise I might be over the top here but I just don't like it.

Ha, that's weird. I can assure you that, to the best of my knowledge, nobody here on wr.gif is doing any such thing.

Believe it or not, there are people out there who can't come up with their own content, or are just too lazy to do so. They (or their bot) scour the web for content in an effort to trick the SE's into thinking their site is worthwhile.

I'm relatively new myself, but Web Radiance seems to be one of the better forums out there - and they've got the best selection of animated gifs I've seen anywhere! borat-wr.gif

I'm only staff, and not admin, but as far as I know no one here is doing that.

By the looks of it, they are feeding off our RSS.

Heh, gotta love the internet. If you can't find users, just fake some.
