mozilla firefox is faster, more safe, more customizable, constantly upgraded, plays games and videos that can't be done on explorer.Mozzila 3 is much faster and you dont get script errors much more customization and to make it more peronal ei7 is slow you get tons of bugs and errors and no customization.

I'm not being funny, but who cares how customizable a browser is? Would people like IE if it was customizable to the hilt - maybe, but i'd prefer a browser that renders code well and is secure. Sure, firefox does this - but opera and safari beat it IMO. Safari has such a beautiful interface. it beats FF hands down in that respect.

Actually I think most non-technical users will see the customisation as a big thing.

Ditto Sirkent, I think that a lot of users of FF like it for the customisation, I guess for a lot it will be the themes, my little sister finds that the best bit.

For me it all comes down to the addons. I have so many with firefox that I just can't get with other browsers. I tried using safari for a while, but I just got frustrated with the absence of addons, and when I searched for substitutes for the ones I was using, I didn't find many, and some that I found cost money - something I have never seen with a FF addon.
