A friend of mine is developing a program (that is going to be freely downloadable) and he really needs more exposure.
I told him I'd help him with this, making a small website, but I'm also looking for a host that lets me use php and mysql. It should be free though, because we're not making any money out of the project that could pay for the hosting. Something reliable would be nice. Hopefully you guys can recommend me something Thanks. -------------------- ![]() |

I used one one time, and I *think* it was this: http://www.free-webhosts.com/reviews/Resel...hp?cohost=125mb
Although I really don't remember for sure. But I'm pretty sure it was that! -------------------- |

You're going to have real trouble finding a free PHP host. There were a few of them a while back but it clearly wasn't a good business model. Now you might find some with ads, or some with strange limits. I'm not sure you'll find one with few limits, no ads and no downsides.

We're trying to make a site that we can refer people to,
so I don't think hosting it on my own computer is a good idea (uptime, security). Thanks for the advice guys. -------------------- ![]() |
