Hi guys,
Imma graphic designer thats getting into web design. I know this guy that wants me to maintain his business' website (change address, color, font, etc.). Its pretty much all basic html. What I'm wondering though is how do I go about getting all the info I need for the website. Do I just get it from the guy thats currently maintaining the website? Do I need anything from him. Can I just copy the source code from the website and paste it into dreamweaver, that way all I will need is the images? Will I have to change hosts' or servers (not really sure how that works)? I would just like to know what steps I have to take in order to do this. |

Hi there,
Yes if you plan on using the current hosting you will need all the hosting details. If you plan on moving to a new hosting provider then you need access to the domain so you can change the nameservers over to the new ones. -------------------- |
