I am in need of a .SWF player that will play FLV files. It has to be a generic FLV player that will allow me to play any FLV file (which will be specified in the html). Can anyone tell me how to create it? I am not the one who will actually be creating it, but will pass the information along to my flash guy to do.

Thanks!

Well flash has a couple FLV players built in. You might want to check out tufat.com they have some nice ones as well. If you are wanting to build on then you build the design, then just code the buttons and the actions layer. You could try just skinning someone else's, it would probably be much easier.

For those who are still interested, yes Flash does come with in built players. But like anything that's classed as default it's not that great and usually you want to chose what elements you want on the stage.

A neat little site I came across is www.gotoandlearn.com - I think it's still up or its forums are at least. The guy running the site provides video tutorials on how to make video players in flash and a lot more. One of the best sites I've stumbled upon in a long time - let me know what you think...

Try Moyea Web Player Pro,

Import videos then this software will generate a flash player that can play the videos you just imported,
