I am pretty new, and want to ask you a question about web design.
I have found a site www.templates-design.info which sells templates for web designers. They are cheap, and very good looking. Is it possible? Does anyone has any experience with templates? Is it a trick?
Thank you in advance, Sonny.

I'm not familiar with the site you gave but if you take look at the Template monster or 4Templates you'll notice that the designs are very professional looking and the prices are very low. I really can't say anything about the technical quality of the produced html code but at least 4templates says it has xhtml tableless designs and I'm sure that's the case with template monster too.
Since both places give you the .psd file of the design it's easy to continue customizing the layout so it very well may be worth the few bucks to buy one from those places and then customize it by yourself to make at least a bit unique. That's for sure you don't get a design any cheaper.

Thank you for this descriptive replay
I think I will buy one, and post you my "feelings"

to be fair, whos ever going to need 10 templates for one site..
And most of those templates are quite un-original, so i wouldn't want 10 of them..

I always swap out images, change the layout around, basically chop the template up. You would still recognize that it was based on a template but if you came across another site that used the same one you'd be able to tell the work I put into customizing it.
The other thing I do is I never buy a template in that matches the type of site I'll use it for. For example I used a wedding store template for a martial arts website.
I also never use the HTML that comes with the templates but instead I reslice the PSD files and rebuild the source code to my liking using CSS for the layouts, server side includes, etc.
So to summarize I think templates are great, but I personally use them as a foundation for a design rather than right out of the box. I still do some designs from scratch of course, it all depends on what kind of project I'm working on. Oh, and on a final note the templates sometimes come with some photoshop clipart files, like 100 different icons or bullet points or arrows and I used these all the time in my own designs.

Sure you can find a nice template or two out there for cheap, but what to do when you see 1000 other websites online that look EXACTLY like yours?
