We've been officially live for just shy of three full days, and here are some numbers.
  • 27 registered members for an average of 9 new members per day.
  • 62 new topics for an average of 20.6 per day.
  • 555 replies for an average of 185 per day.
  • 600 topic views for an average of 200 per day.

Today it is our one-month birthday! Here are some numbers as of today @ 1:45am for the dates of 8/1/06 - 9/1/06:
  • 56 registered members for an average of 1.8 per day.
  • 182 new topics for an average of 5.9 per day. Best day: 8/1/06 with 26 new topics. Worst day(s): about 4 that have 0 - 1 new posts per day
  • 2,011 replies for an average of 64.9 per day. Best day: 8/1/06 with 301 replies. Worst day: 8/25/06 with 2 replies.
  • 9,361 topic views for an average of 302 per day. Most viewed forum: General Discussion (2,701 views). Least viewed forum: ASP & ASP.Net (23 views)

I would say those are pretty good. Yet I am with Ben, we need to make sure things stay this way and increase so that we as designers and developers all get to benefit.

word lengths are not accurate on spacing -that'd b too easy!

Back on topic: a couple other admins and I were discussing the subject of amending new stats to the original post at the end of 30 days, and so on. That'll be a great way to see how the site is growing in one post.

I like the idea of amending the post, however I wouldn't overwrite the data, simply add the new data next to the old data for comparison & for history's sake.
