As far as I know the above title does not exist (*sigh*) but it would be great if it did.

The closest I have found is this book about CJKV by O`Reily
http://www.oreilly.c...talog/cjkvinfo/

It looks quite heavy going and the table of contents don`t make any specific mention about PHP encoding issues
so I havent forked out the 50 bucks yet for the PDF book version.

Seems to me though that with the growth East Asia in economic importance, sooner or later every serious Web Developer
will have to have at least a rudimentory knowledge of the the different Asian encoding types and relevant issues surrounding each one,
how to manipulated encoding with popular HTML editors like Dreamweaver/Frontpage, language tags and character sets in the HTML header and so on.

Perhaps some enterprising young member here (haku?) might like to make a proposal to Wiley Press, the Dummies publishers :rolleyes1:
or post a prospective "TABLE OF CONTENTS" right here.

There is a lot of information on the web but its fragmented, technical and contradictory in places.
