EDIT: In case you didn't get it, this was our April Fools joke this year. Ok, not brilliant, but it worked for a few of you :-)

Hi everyone,

Recently, WebRadiance has been getting busier and we, the admins, have been finding less and less time to devote to the site. we all have private lives, we all work, and WebRadiance has always been from a non-profit and selfless perspective. I guess that's come back to haunt us. Although we love WebRadiance, we've had to come to the conclusion that between us, we can no longer find time to maintain, moderate and update WebRadiance, so we're going to close down.

As a tribute to WebRadiance and to all of you, our members and visitors, we've recorded a special message on Youtube.

Special WebRadiance leaving message.

This has not been a decision we have taken lightly, and we hope that you, our members, fully support us. Please leave your heartfelt comments below.
QUOTE(benbramz @ Aug 17 2007, 07:44 AM) Ive noticed that quite a few people are now adding quotes from the board into their signature. I think its started an new web-radiance craze.. :P

Eh? That sucks boys.

I can understand, you all have your own lives and stuff to do. Still sucks though, I thought there was a lot of potential for this place to be a bastion for people who like good, semantic, well written code.

Really sucks. But what you going to do. C'est la vie. Interesting news on the BBC at the moment though.

You bastards!

April fools was already over by the time I read it!

I'm glad I didn't go off and call you all a bunch of *#$%#$ hahaha

I got caught TWICE this year! I downloaded a pre-release of Lost Episode 9. I was so stoked on watching it - got 1/3 of the way through the 'Last Week On Lost' part, and all of a sudden "April Fools".

Was I ever disappointed! hahah

This time I'm pretty happy though. I was disappointed that you guys were shutting down the site!

Lets make WebRadiance the bastion of good design that it should be!

It was some lame show. Once I saw it wasn't lost, I turned it off and just swore for a few moments. Good job on their parts though!
