No. Never.

The admins of this forum were once staff at another forum, which pushed these ads and obtrusive sponsorship messages in members faces. We disliked the approach..

Our site aim is simple;

provide friendly, free web design and web development advice, and dont make the user see a single ad. Our spam policy is strict too. We hate it.

I like to think we're taking the Slashdot approach. They never used to have ads until their costs became ridiculous so now they have ads/sponsorship/membership to cover those costs but nothing more.

All of the admin's agreed when we set up WR - it's not a money spinner. If any of us ever ended up spending a lot of time working on the site then maybe that would change, but for the foreseeable future it's simply not necessary and I don't personally ever think it will be.

So yeah.... tell your friends!! :-P
