As of today all registered members, regardless of rank, have the freedom and ability to post events in the Webradiance Public Calendar. After a brief discussion, we also determined that it would be most convenient to all members (including us, the admins :ninja:) if the entries weren't put into a moderation queue.

This means that any of you can put an entry in there and it will appear immediately, without us having to approve it. Does this mean we won't be watching it for absurd/wrong/profane entries? No, of course we will, so please keep your entries meaningful and rated PG-13 at worst.

Ok, have at it: WebRadiance Public Calendar

Note: you probably already know there is a global link to the calendar at the top-right of all pages.

Update

A few members have asked why calendar events that are coming to fruition in a few days are not showing up at the bottom of the home page, underneath the section aptly called "Forthcoming Calendar Events within the next 30 days".

This is because the IPB forum system is programmed to not show any recurring events in the above mentioned section. It will only show "Forthcoming Calendar Events within the next 30 days" if those events are one-off events; meaning they aren't recurring.

The admins have discussed modfying this, as it makes this section a little more entertaining to utilize, so in time we might edit the forum system to also include recurring events down there.
