showing sql query in phpmyadmin when importing a db

I need to see the sql query for when i import a db from a file but all it says is 11 queries executed, i need this as i am building a setup file, if phpmyadmin can't do it does anyone have any suggestions. I thought i could do it in php but if phpmyadmin can do it or anything else can please tell me.

What kind of file are you importing it as? If it's a sql file, then that's what you want anyways. Otherwise, phpmyadmin can export it to sql.

its a .sql.gz which i exported from phpmyadmin, but i need to import it so i can see what the sql query is to create the tables and their columns.

You can just open it with Notepad to see the contents.
