If you start a thread as an answerable thread, then after you get your answer mark it as 'answered', you can't add any replies.
So what if I wanted to continue to discuss the thread? I don't want to start a new thread for a couple of comments.
Can we have it so that after the thread is answered, it ISN'T closed?

Hey Tim, thanks for the comment (we'll be needing them as we grow from our first 'baby-steps' as a new forum). When we built the Answered mod into the forum system, we thought it would be best to mark the thread Closed, due to the nature of a question; the poster get's an answer, case closed... supposedly.
But you bring up a valid point, there might in fact be reason to discuss the topic after an answer is found. Since I'm not the only one with input, I would like to hear from others on this subject; what are your thoughts?
If we receive a majority opinion for one way or the other, then that is what we'll do.
Thanks again for bringing this up!

Yeah I can understand why closing it seems like a good idea, but I think in the majority of cases it would only cause hassles.

Thanks for the feedback Tim!
In that case though, would it not also be worthwhile being able to change which post is set as the answer, in case a better answer is posted?
For now, I've re-opened your original topic determining if user is using a mobile browser.

I think that is a great suggestion, have it marked answered but allow additional comments, discussion and possible newer solutions to be added. That way it is more of an archivable solution 'center'.
Thanks Tim!
Thanks Tim!
