I want to learn web-development but i don't have that much patience that i can sit and read a big-fat book. Is there anyway that i don't have read big-fat books? I really want to learn web-development.

You don't need big and fat books. You can just research them and read ebooks instead.

Is it better to go to a college or institute, or from books and programs? And what are good sites, software, programs, and books that help with learning and excelling in web development?central air conditioners

www.w3schools.com is a good tutorial site.. easy to understand and very organized..

There are a lot of tutorials out there in the internet. Choose the programming language that you think will be the best for you.

You can learn from online tutorials..
There are a lot of sources which may benefited for you. I suggest you to watch the Youtube online video tutorial..
