I was wandering if someone may point out to me what legal documents I may be needing for my freelance web design company. I legally own my company's name as in terms of the fictitious name.
What I am mainly asking is, do I need to make a contract? If so, is there one I may find and edit? Because, as I am aware, not everyone is a lawyer and or accountant.

Income tax, sales tax and VAT rules are very different in different regions and also depend on the type of business (freelance, small company). Visit the Chamber of Commerce (or similar) in your locality (Missouri), they will be able to tell you what's best.
