It depends on personal preferences, although knowledge of both is better option.
When it comes to usability, Illustrator is comparatively easy in use, however it has less features than Corel Draw, which is aimed to be for advanced users.

Mostly i use AI.. .it is much more user-friendly and mostly compatible with printing shops here in our area.. .although, Corel is useful too.. .but whenever i have clients online, they usually prefer that i use AI.. .
