Hi everyone,

As many of you will have realised, we have a big spam problem here on WebRadiance, with a number of spam bots registering and posting spam messages on the forums.

Ahead of our upgrade to IPB 2.2, we've decided to implement the improved CAPTCHA system it uses in order to reduce the levels of spam we receive. This was implemented 12 hours ago and so far we haven't had another Spam Bot sign up (they were appearing at the rate of up to 4-5 a day!) so fingers crossed that we've cracked it.

I'd like to thank everyone who's reported posts recently and helped us identify these spam bots and deal with them as quickly as possible. You would have thought the bot owners would realise that this forum is well policed, but they still keep trying. Special thanks on catching a good proportion of the spam goes out to TJSingleton, JPMitchell, Ineke and wgardner, who between them have reported somewhere in the region of 30 seperate spam attempts! Thanks so much.
QUOTE(benbramz @ Aug 17 2007, 07:44 AM) Ive noticed that quite a few people are now adding quotes from the board into their signature. I think its started an new web-radiance craze.. :P
