A coworker of mine who isn't a developer by day has asked me to point her to some websites that teach xhtml/css code writing, but the right way, with standards, etc.

I could quickly come up with a few books to recommend, but I drew a blank regarding websites that aren't just blogs preaching about good code writing, but actually tutorial-ish with standards and accessibility in mind.

Any ideas?

That's an excellent question! I am also not aware of any "tutorial-ish with standards and accessibility in mind" type sites.

As a matter of fact I am in the works refocusing my web design tutorial site to accomodate this exact thing it'll become effective within the next month when the new design launches. Get with me if you are interested in contributing short tutorials with such a focus.

Take a look at w3schools.com. It's the place I go when I need help with web development.

Well, it seems that there are none out there, aside from the well-known w3schools.com, that teach the basics the proper way.

James, when you're site is ready, you just may be the first non-w3 site to do it ;)
