Welcome to an upgraded version of the WebRadiance forums! Earlier today, our forum software was upgraded from version 2.1.7, to 2.2.1. This upgrade brings the following enhancements:

Brand new Personal Profile
The personal profile feature has been completely redesigned from the ground up, with a large focus on social networking features, such as profile comments and user rating.

Buddy lists
Users can now add other users to their buddy list, easing communication between friends and building new relationships. Troublesome users can be ignored.

New Rich-text Editor (RTE)
IP.Board 2.2 brings an all-new rich-text editor, making it easier for your users to apply various formatting to their posts, and see the formatting as they type it.

Smaller system updates
1. An Updated user warning system
2. An Updated RSS system

A big round of applause to the few administrators that spent their time tweaking our custom skin and ensuring that past modifications got the attention they needed in order to work just as smoothly with the new version of the forum software. These administrators are Sirkent, benbramz, and benbacardi.

We also ask that you, the heart and soul of WebRadiance, keep your eyes open for any small quirks, bugs, or down-right explosions that we may have missed during our testing time. If any are found, we ask that you report them here in this very thread, as a reply post. Please be descriptive and we will certainly get right on fixing it.

Thanks, and we welcome any comments, criticisms, requests and the like, regarding this upgrade, to be posted right here in this thread.

Just to add, if you see any odd problems, try hitting refresh first, as quite a lot of the CSS/images have changed during the updat and could still be cached in your browser.

Hopefully there's no bugs...

Enjoy!

Assuming the Chat Room is working!

We've also discovered that Quick Edits do not work, I'm fixing that now...

That is part of the new system, not something that we particularly did. Nice huh?

I like it, especially the new personal profile stuff ^_^
Though I've noticed we've lost the 'reputation' things?

that is true. although, here why.

1) Nobody Used it..
2) It was a poor mod, which needed bug fix after bug fix
3) It was a massive mod, it could have been coded much better, and its amount of edits was huge and upgrading it would be a pain. IPB changed quite dramatically in 2.2 and it just wasnt worth the work

In time, we may create our own, or hopefully the developer of the mod will have got his act together..

The closest thing we currently have is the personal ratings. Have a look under the personal photo: http://www.webradian...sirkent-m2.html

I think this fault is due to the furls, now, you can quick edit but the rewrites to the images have gone a little fuzzy. bear with us on this..
